Steve Arpin Spices up Daytona Debut with Award Winning BBQ Sauce

Posted on 2/4/2010

DAYTONA BEACH, FL (02/04/2010) - The Daytona International Speedway’s infield garage is flooded with ARCA teams getting ready for the season debut. Venturini Motorsports and Steve Arpin look forward to spicing up the infield and putting the heat on the competing teams with the number 55 Farm Boy BBQ and K2 Agriculture Toyota.

Steve Arpin and Venturini Motorsports are proud to announce Farm Boy BBQ and K2 Agriculture (K2 AG) as the primary sponsors for the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 at Daytona International Speedway.

Farm Boy BBQ, based out of St. Ansgar, Iowa, is an award winning BBQ team and the creators of the popular Farm Boy BBQ sauce. The Farm Boy BBQ team jumped at the opportunity to partner with an award winning ARCA driver. Steve Arpin became ARCA’s Most Popular Driver in 2009 after his rookie season in the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards.

K2 AG (Jon Koster Seed) is the premier seed dealer in North Iowa and Southern Minnesota for DynaGro, NK, and DeKalb/Asgrow brand seeds. K2 AG specializes in providing personalize crop planning utilizing the newest technologies available in the seed industry. K2 AG and Farm Boy BBQ are eager to be working with Steve Arpin and Venturini Motorsports.

“This is the second time that we have been able to represent these companies at Daytona, and we are proud to have them back,” says Arpin, driver of the number 55 Venturini Motorsports Toyota. “Farm Boy BBQ and K2 AG sponsored me for my first ARCA debut, which happened to be one year ago at Daytona International Speedway in the ARCA Racing Series,” said Steve Arpin. “It is really neat to have them on board for the Daytona race two years in a row.”

Jon Koster and Joe Rosenberg, owners of Farm Boy BBQ , are equally enthused about the reoccurring partnership with Arpin. “Farm Boy BBQ is very happy to be back on board with Steve Arpin and Venturini Motorsports for the Daytona race. We have big beliefs in Steve’s talent and this is a good opportunity to showcase that ability,” said Jon Koster.

Steve Arpin and Venturini Motorsports look forward to making a strong statement at Daytona this weekend. “We have a really good car and I think we will be able to stay out front,” said Arpin. “The number 55 Farm Boy BBQ and K2 AG Toyota was great in practice in December and I can’t wait to showcase that again in practice, qualifying and Saturday’s race.

The ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards will have the 2010 season debut at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, February 6th for the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200. The race will be aired live on SPEED beginning at 4 p.m. (ET).
