  • STEVE ARPIN MOVES TO 6th IN ARCA RE/MAX CHAMPIONSHIP STANDINGS FOLLOWING THURSDAY RUN AT KANSAS SPEEDWAY

    CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA (October 2, 2009) Steve Arpin ended Thursday afternoon at Kansas Speedway with an eighth place finish, good enough to move the young Canadian racing talent up to sixth place in the ARCA driver's championship. Although it was Arpin's eleventh top-10 run of the season, the final rundown is no indication of just how strong Arpin drove the Mundy Ranch sponsored Venturini Motorsports entry. The 2009 numbers game took another turn, of sorts for the talented racer from Fort Frances, Ontario at the Kansas Speedway event.

  • THE MUNDY RANCH JOINS STEVE ARPIN FOR THE KANSAS LOTTERY 150

    Kansas City, KS (9-29-09) – Steve Arpin announced today that the New Mexico based Mundy Ranch will join forces with the No.15 Venturini Motorsports team for Thursday night’s Kansas Lottery 150 at Kansas Speedway. The 2009 season has been a numbers game, of sorts for the talented racer from Fort Frances, Ontario and that game will take another twist on Thursday when Arpin climbs aboard the No.15 Venturini Motorsports entry in the event that will be aired on SPEED TV. Currently posted in the 7th position of the season-long ARCA driver's championship, Arpin will be making his first-ever start at the 1.5 mile Kansas Speedway with a shot of moving into the tour's top-five standings prior to the season finale at Rockingham, North Carolina on October 11th.

  • Jesse Smith Pre-race Notes and Quotes Kansas Lottery 150

    Jesse Smith is returning to the site of his best ARCA Re/Max outing, and the track closest to his hometown of Wildwood, MO. Smith is piloting the Price Chopper, Hormel Foods, Lloyd's BBQ Chevrolet for the fourth and final time of 2009 for Venturini Motorsports this week at the Kansas Speedway. Smith is increasingly optimistic about his chances in the Kansas Lottery 150. In last season's event at Kansas, Smith notched his best career ARCA finish of third, and led a career high 24 of the race's 100 laps.

  • ROOKIE STEVE ARPIN FASTEST IN ARCA RE/MAX SERIES OPEN TESTING AT ROCKINGHAM SPEEDWAY

    ROCKINGHAM NC (9-23-09) - Rookie Steve Arpin, in a Venturini Motorsports Chevrolet, led the speed charts in ARCA RE/MAX Series open testing Wednesday at Rockingham Speedway. The Fort Frances, Ontario driver circled the historic one-mile oval in 24.877 seconds, an average speed of 144.712 mph.
